Saffron colour and very cloudy. Floral nose, with light alcohol and what I assume to be gesho wood. Creamy body, with light bitterness in the finish. Very complex. There’s a hint of rotting fruit that makes you wonder how it got there. Cool stuff, made with yeast from Ethiopia. Quality mead, serious tej, fun beverage.
