(tap at the brewpub) Slightly hazy, deep golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweetish biscuit malt aroma Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with an almost tame carbonation. Sweet, even a bit sugary malty base with biscuit notes; sweet malt accented finish with a very restrained level of hoppy bitterness. Too sweet and quite one-dimensional. 09.XI.12

Tapped: Deep golden, hazy, stable mid-sized rocky off-white head, sweet malty and bisquity nose with a very shy hoppy touch; moderate to solid sweet flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet pale-malty finish with a slight hoppy touch in the aftertaste. Too sweet...

Ernest (7513) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 25, 2011
Rated at 3 Kronen Nov 2011. Head is mostly lasting. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a strong note of butter, other notes of apple and pineapple. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Medium to full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Just awful. Nearly a butter bomb (see also the pils), and painfully syrupy sweet. Ugh.

Draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen
Cloudy light amber color; compact head. Nice aroma, sweet, with delicate fruits, candies, light banana, interesting. Smooth mouthfeel; the flavor is a bit sweet, some malt, some wheat, candies and light banana. The bitterness level is not very high. Balanced. A Weizenbock?

Draft on release night, what a strange night...Hazy amber, thick stable head. Sweet fruity aroma. Soft palate. Very very sweet. Has a soft and juicy body. Overall it’s too sweet but I come to have a soft spot for it, oddly.
