Schaumweinflasche: Amber coloured, hazy, visible carbonation, bigger off-white creamy head with a good lace; mild sweetish nutty-caramelly nose with a pretty subdued lemony fruityness and some mild -as well - "woody" hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and very smooth; lingering soft hoppy and caramelly finish accompanied by delicate fruity traces. Many thanks to ThirstyBird for sharing this large corked 75cl bottle!!
Dark amber colour in the glass, very nice hoppy-bloomy and malty nose. The beer starts very malty and nicely hopped. The mainpart is malty, nicely balanced, but I miss a specific aroma...
The aftertaste is long, nicely hopped, floral notes together with a nice maltyness.
--> Nice decent beer, but sadly nothing really special... --> 10/12/11/11

750ml bottle. Pours deep orangish brown with some haze and a large light tan head. The smell is light caramel, hops, Taste is roasted malt, caramel, fruity and tangy hop notes ending dry. The body is light plus with nice carbonation. Overall a pleasant beer but would likely be much better fresh on tap. hobsch (505) - Cologne, GERMANY - NOV 30, 2013
Bottle 0.75l from P&M Bonn. Pours deep orange with off white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, dough, touch of caramel. Taste is medium bitter, light sweetness, malt is present, hops are reduced to a background flavour. Carbonation is lively, light body. Overall definitely not an IPA but nevertheless a very drinkable beer. Bamsen78 (5336) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2013
Bottle @ Scooper Tasting in Ulfborg. Pours cloudy darkish amber with airy off-white head. Clear, hoppy aroma, with notes of fruit and caramel. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of fruit and touches of yeast and grass. Sweetish aftertaste. Way too sweet and too darkk for an IPA, I think., but drinkable. yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 23, 2013
Bottle, 75cl corked. An almost clear one, dark golden in color and with a dense, light beige head. The aroma has some grassy, fluor-like hops and a caramel-ish maltyness as well as cellary notes. Some vegetable notes in the back. It’s quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation, although a bit too much maybe. Some roasted, caramel notes in the flavor, with a fruityness. Bitterness too, both initially and in the end. Not very successful this one but with some qualities. 131123 Meilby (11366) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 23, 2013
