Cloudy brown beer, small white head. Soft creamy malt with a nice peach and orange fruit. Semi dry soft finish. Light frothy tasty beer.

Personally I found this undrinkable. Pours orange with a small head, off-putting vomit-like aroma, strange cardboard notes. Very dry finish, which left the offensive notes lingering in my mouth.

Foggy orange, decent head, but not an extensive amount of staying power. On the nose is barley and hops, just barely though. Taste is a bit of burlap and hazelnut, slight chocolate and caramel notes on the back end.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber and lots of small particles. Aroma and taste are fruits, yeast, perfume, soap and malt.

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 28, 2009
bottle from Village de la Bière Strasbourg. Hazy amber colour with some floaties, lovely creamy and persistent head. Fruity nose with hints of caramel. Solid malty base with lots of caramel, vanilla, honey and herbs like thyme and rosemary. Interesting combination of malty sweetness with the caramel and the herbal accents. A rather complex and very nice brew. Finishes with lots of caramel and chocolate.

3.6
KyotoLefty (10254) - Kyoto, JAPAN - OCT 3, 2009
Light amber, orange color. Nice fine head. Good lacing all the way down. Amber malt aroma, earthy, farmland, yeast. Nutty as well, with a touch of chocolate. Also fruits-apple, maybe pear? Good malt flavor, earthy, grassy biere de garde flavor. Some fruit and a touch of citrus as well. Good hop finish. This might have slightly better hops, though. Very dry and also refreshing. The alcohol is also noticeable, with a warming sense in the mouth. Great balance and good body as well, heavily carbonated.
