Bottle shared with the Vuong siblings while in Vancouver. Pours a bright orange golden body with light haze and white lacing. Aroma is very restrained citrus. Mouthfeel is medium to thin with notes of light pale hops and muted citrus tones. Solid American pale ale, but more of a hop prescience would make this dad dominate. Bomber bottle. Pours a haze light amber with a thin, creamy head. Aroma of grass. Taste: a grassy hoppiness, moderately bitter, light malt undertones. Finishes with a citrus like bitterness. Not bad... WheatKing (1338) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - JUN 21, 2012
Nice amber with lasting head. For my tastes this has too little carbonation for the style. Inoffensive but boring. It’s got that citrusy hop flavour but we’re talking really sour, a bit odd. Gerbeer (3896) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 11, 2012
On tap. Pours a clear amber/copper with light head. Light orange/citrus hops aroma. Similar taste. Nice. Not overly hoppy. RumRunner101 (918) - Alberta, CANADA - APR 17, 2012
On tap. Pours a pale orange. Aromas of lemon, pine, orange peel. Relatively bitter body. I found the after taste to be oddly salty which didn’t completely ruin it, just made it, well, odd.

Golden with a small pale head and noticeable carbonation. Aroma is North West hops - pine and orangey citrus. Taste is spruce, grapefruit. Bitter on the palate and the bitterness tends to linger a little on the finish. Typical over-hopped Northwest Ale, not particularly impressed. When paired with some food on the sweet side, like an onion soup, the bitterness calms down a little allowing the floral and citrus aspects of the hops to come through. Lagerboy (2221) - British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 21, 2012
Clear yellow orange, nice rocky white head. Piney citrus hop aroma. Big initial fizzy, citrus hop bite with the faintest of bready malt backgrounds. Tastes more like an average hopped IPA. Clean bitter end. LF (Lagerboy Friendly) northropfrye (3677) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JAN 28, 2012
Copper in colour with white head, not much retention, but decent lacing. Lively spicy aroma. The flavour with much like an APA or IPA, so I was surprised this was categorized as a Golden Ale. Much more flavourful than your typical golden ale/blond ale. Nice beer. gramity (1678) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 9, 2011
Rich, sweet malts blend nicely with spicy, grassy, pine-like citrus hops in the nose. Clear, deep golden coloured body is topped by an enthusiastic white head that recedes slowly and laces well. Light cereal malt character with spicy hop flavours and medium bitterness. Somewhat sweet and floral in the finish. Medium light body with crisp carbonation. Somewhat slick in texture. michclark (88) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 18, 2011
they should call this one shitwood ale. Horrible in flavour and equally in appearance. not worth your time.
