A perfect marriage of Northwest and German hops balanced with cotton candy malt notes and a hint of fruit courtesy of our own special yeast.

they should call this one shitwood ale. Horrible in flavour and equally in appearance. not worth your time.

Thanks Frank. This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange to amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Light stringy lace. The aroma had some orange marmalade sweet sort of rind bitterness educating a light citrus to sweet cracker malt base. The flavor arranged the prior notes together tightly forming a solid balance between sweet and bitter. Aftertaste was sweet malty smooth running into the finish in the same sort of way. The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Overall, pretty good APA worthy of having again.

Nice Pale Ale! Also has a much nicer, newer label than the Ratebeer release shows. Has a nice crystal malt flavour with a nice bitterness level coming through on the hop flavours. Grassiness, lemon, orange, and earthy tones are also present.

Bottle bought at BC Liquor Store. Pours clear golden orange with tiny white head and some lacing. Aroma: hops, lots of fruits (manguo, grapefruits, watermelon). Hints of vanilla. Strong earthy bitterness. Spicy aftertaste. Thin. Almost watery texture. Enjoyable beer overall.

Pleasant beer dominated by earthy, bitter hops. A touch of sweetness and spice evident too - enjoyable beer.

Bottle. Hazy golden pour with small offwhite head. Aroma has hoppy notes although not very strong. Taste is medium bitter and well balanced.

Bottle to pint glass Apricot, papaya, mango, pine and grapefruit. Very light amber with a very creamy long lasting white head. Taste is loads of fruit with a nice bitterness.

andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 22, 2013
Pours a slightly hazy golden-amber with a large sticky dull white head that slowly settles leaving a lot of lace up the glass. Aroma is big citrus, tropical fruits, resin, and caramel maltiness. Flavour is pine, resin, grapefruit, medium bitterness, and moderate sweet malts to balance the delicious hops. Maybe a bit hoppy for a pale ale but the bitterness doesn’t really linger and hell I’m loving it.

Reimer96 (1778) - Alberta, CANADA - AUG 25, 2013
Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with a huge fluffy white head and tons of lace. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, sweet pale malts and fruity hop esters. Taste is grapefruit, resin, pine, caramel and sweet pale malts. Great balance between hops and malts make this beer very nice to drink.
