The sour cherries taste very cranberry-like to me. I'm a little surprised how highly it's rated consider how fruity it is, and the sourness is very mild. Bottle from BC ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, shared at game night. Red-orange, short lived head. Nostril-singe from powerful burnt rubber and acetone, just an all out chemical assault on the nose. Solvent and burnt hair flavour. This is so far off that it is literally unapproachable. Drainpour.

J’aime beaucoup.

Pour is a murky brownish red blood color with a thin fizzy dark pink head that is gone immediately. Nose is very fleshy cherry, cherry pit, a fair bit of dark malt (doesn’t mix too well) light oak and vanilla, a touch cough syrup. Taste is similar, very fleshy dark cherry, pitty, light oak, malt plays a little better, hint of rubbery phenol in back. Very syrupy feel, soft carb, full bodied.

Bottle shared by Jeremy - thanks! Pours an attractive deep purplish ruby. Pink head. Aroma of ripe fruit (cherry, I presume); tart, vinegar. Smells like a tarter version of a NG fruit beer. Taste: moderately sweet with a moderately tart finish. There’s also wheat and mineral here along with some metallic notes. Tastes a lot like unsweetened cherry juice. Tannic astrigency. As it opens up, the harsher aspects quiet down. Overall: Belgian Red + extra tartness.

650ml bottle pours a dark red color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is sour cherries with hints of lemon, oak and yeast. Taste is tart cherries and lemon with a fruity and malty sweetness finishing dry and yeasty with some oak notes. Medium bodied with generous carbonation. Nicely crafted and definitely recommended.
