jonas (7985) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAY 13, 2015
Bottle from Todd’s cellar, thanks mate! Cloudy brown, low tan lace. Candisugar and spice nose. Medium-lightbody, dried out a bit it seems, light sparkly mouthfeel. Berries, sugar, wood, a bit oxidized, nice lightfooted hop profile to round it off. Quite lightfooted and drinkable actually. Pleasant.

Bottle from 16th Street Liquor, West Vancouver, bottled 03.25.13, too old
Hazy brown color with medium sized head. Light malt aroma. Lean body, lightly sweet caramel flavor and very low bitterness.
Rather boring.

GothGargoyle (2587) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 3, 2014
Slighty hazy rusty brown with a decent pale head. Aroma is pineapple, brown sugar, dates, raisins, toffee. Medium-full bodied, slightly sticky mouthfeel, sweet and malty on the palate with a subtle balancing bitterness in the background. Taste is raisins, dates, toffee, chocolate, candi sugar, Belgian yeast.

dresden (1581) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - DEC 27, 2013
But brown with a big foamy off whte head. Aroma of fruit, malt, and caramel. Lots of toffee, quite a bit of a raisin or other dried fruit. A nice, simple dubbel, ummm ok

Lagerboy (2221) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 30, 2013
Bomber. Clear deep amber, fading foamy tan head. Big sugar sweet malt aroma and taste, some dark fruitiness and a hint of yeast, no bitterness. Soft carbonation, light-medium body, low hopped. A flat cola-ish, vinous, cloying dubbel bubblegum flavor emerges as it warms... sadly, the final third is a drainpour. Disappointing effort from Driftwood. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

3.4
solidfunk (9363) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUL 13, 2013
Consistent with style but light. Floral hops, sweet malt. Pours clear mahogany with lacing and good head. Light on palate, finishes a little sweet. Bottle.

pictoman (1185) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 4, 2013
Poured from the tap. Clear reddish brown with full beige head. Malt and belgian yeast aroma with just hints of dark fruit. Taste of sweet toffee, only hints of a traditional dubble. Very simple body.
