Bottle the folks picked me up from Driftwood Spars. Pours slightly veiled gold with a dense, well-retained white collar. Aroma has got me dribbling; a big, Bretty smack of farmyard, flowers and mouldering satsuma. If it was Orval, Cantillon or a Sorachi Ace single hop I’d be giving it an 8 or 9, so what the hell. Flavour a little more challenging; mildly acidic, edgy, equine....Good limey, pollen-dappled hop and lavender cutting through husk and horseblanket. Don’t think I’ve ever changed my mind so entirely about a beer at a second sitting- I couldn’t drink half a bottle the first time I tried this, now I’m thirsting for another. Really enjoyable. madmitch76 (25801) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2012
