What a quality west coast style IPA. From Canada, I wouldnt necessarily expect such a pine and grapefruit hop presence, but there it is. The aroma is a strong point, with grass, flowers, pine and citrus all present. The aroma is pure hops, a touch of water and light malt. The body has a better malt presence but doesnt sacrifice the clean water finish. Fresh bomber went down so easily. The only knock is the alcohol at 7% is a little high for a beer that Id love to session, and that it sticks a bit on the tongue with a tannic finish at the back. Otherwise, this is a beautiful beer, even including the appearance which is amber and has some decent (but not a ton of) lace. Thanks, Mom, for bringing this back!

Over rated. At least here on rate beer. Its an alright IPA but nothing more. I find red racer IPA in same league

Awesome find in Canada. Was looking for some good IPAs here and then I find one. Good clear orange body with a good white head. Hoppy with balanced fruity malts. Nice finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Delicious IPA best consumed young. This floral and rich IPA is well balanced, creamy and refreshing

Pours golden in color with a lacy sudsy white head. Beautiful rounded piney-fruity (melon) aroma. Rounded and balanced for the IBUs...moderately piney, moderately fruity, fairly forward malt body. Notes: on tap at Craft Beer Market, Vancouver trip May 17

Bottled. Almost clear golden, mid sized head. Peppery mango aroma. Sweetish with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with some syrup, grapefruit and mango. Long bitter finish with some saccharine.

Bomber from ABV. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. A nice lemon and resinous hop nose. Really cool label. The flavor is soft perfume, big orange peel and sugary resin hops, some light bitterness that grows in the finish.

My Bottom Line:
Citrus fruit, flowers and grainy cereals combine in this bitter, resinous IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam laces atop the translucent golden mist.
-Citrus character is reminiscent of orange zest.
-Honeyed malts are surprisingly chewy in this one. Makes for a balanced beer, overall.
-In the end, this is a tad too sweet for my tastes in IPA.
-Drinkability is lower than I would like it to be (within the style).

Bottle.

650ml bottle no date. Pour orange gold a bit hazy with a nice dense creamy white foam. Aroma is resinous green, grapefruits and grass. Taste is a bit malty, bitter and fruity. Creamy, oily, medium to high body and medium carbonation. Long hoppy and bitter green finish.

colui72 (977) - HONG KONG - MAR 28, 2017
Pours hazy golden, medium white head and spotted lacing. Beautuful aroma of mango and passion fruit. Great hoppy IPA, but with a good balance of malts. Can taste mango, passion fruit, grapefruit, resin, biscuit, caramel, some yeast funk, bitter in the end. Medium bodied, highly bitter, smooth and softly carbonated. Excellent ale.

Pour is hazy bright gold, nice lacing - attractive but a touch flat. Aroma is killer - tropical fruit, loads of pineapple - pine, grass, citrus, nice malt foundation. Taste is excellent - fruity, piney, bitter, bready, balanced. Pineapple isnt as explosive as on the nose, but that just makes it easier to appreciate everything else going on. An elite-level IPA.
