Bottle shared by tom10101, thanks a lot Tommy. Pours a clear golden with a really thin... scratch that, no head and no lacing.Nose is of tantalizing fruits, lemons and citrus. Taste is of mangoes, as tropical as it can be and only lightly sweet. Moderately bitter. Body and carbonation were both medium. Overall a really nice surprise, I didn’t expect this one to be as good as it was! I’d buy that over and over again... JulienHuxley (5809) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - APR 26, 2015
Bottle shared. Clear gold pour with thin white head. Aroma is nice and hoppy, leafy hop, light pineapple. Taste is quite bitter, leafy, resinous, some alcohol. Palate is med bodied, good carbonation. Good. GraffitiVandal (150) - Manitoba, CANADA - APR 20, 2015
ENG: 650ml bottle brought from Vancouver, poured into the Teku glass. Clean, golden color, medium tan head. Citrus, piney aromas, unfortunately some skunky, wet cardboard too. There is quite strong diacethyle taste... I think there is some kind of a infection or bad yeast... Doesn’t tastes too good, but I heard a lot of good stories about this brewery so I assume this must be just a one-time accident. There is no sense in reviewing this beer any longer. Don’t look at the points, I had to put something. Will try it in some time, maybe newer brews will be good.jonas (7581) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - APR 9, 2015
PL: Butelka 650ml przywieziona z Vancouver, przelana do Teku.
Bottle bb 02/15/12, thanks for this blast from the past Todd! Dank pine and earthy hop aroma. Hazy orange amber, low golden head. Fullbodied sweet, initially, berries, low stickiness though with a broad hop front to cut through: Funny tobacco, lemon drops, pine, dry herbal, almost meaty and earthy finish. Leaves with sparkles on the tongue. The powder did not get wet in the last three years. GRM (4050) - Aylmer, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 10, 2014

650ml bottle pours a golden amber color with a 2 finger white head that retains well and leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is bold grapefruit with some caramel and grains. Taste is a bold grapefruit hop bitterness with a light caramel malty sweetness. Medium to heavy bodied with decent carbonation. Definitely, a hop forward brew with some balance of malt. Sure to satisfy any hop lover out there. Recommended. pushkinwow (2790) - Ottawa, CANADA - JUL 5, 2014
Bomber from Ian via CANBIF. Clear light amber with light off white head. Light citrus, musty hop, grapefruit rind, some resin. Moderate carbonation, full body, blended citrus rind and booze on the palate, very bitter yet a huge boozy sweetness too. Interesting. Boutip (6380) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 4, 2014
Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of strong hoppy notes with citrus flavours is pretty nice with some resinous and piney notes also identifiable. Taste is dominated by loads of citrus and piney hoppy flavours with some sweet malt notes that are also discernable. Body is full with great carbonation. Nice hops profile but malt base if just a bit too sweet for my liking in the style. MartinT (9880) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 16, 2014
My Bottom Line:Ferris (15288) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 16, 2014
Blood oranges and various tropical fruit swim atop this Double IPA’s honeyed sugars before laying on the resinous hop bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the misty honeyed amber.
-The aroma is beautifully hoppy, but the flavor profile is a tad too sweet for my liking within the style.
-The flavor profile is cohesive and refined.
-The bitterness is nicely offset by the honeyed malt sugars.
Bottle - Grapefruit, tropical fruit and rind. Clearish gold with a rich white head. Grapefruit, sweet malts and nice citrus and tropical fruit. Not nearly as boozy and rich as I though it would be. Quite pleasant and deceptively drinkable.
