COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a Dry Irish Stout with a light body to keep it on the highly drinkable side. Bitterness comes from both roasted barley and a generous dose of hops, though the roasted coffee characteristics will be more noticeable.

A pretty bad Irish stout flavores of sour leather and off flavores. I think fermentation is to warm. Thin fading head. Good concentration camp kind of beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

AKA Tuskaloosa Stout. Draft. Poured black with a thin light tan head. Aroma and flavor were roasted malt, milk chocolate, a hint of coffee, some ash. Low sweetness and bitterness. Mouthfeel is on the thin side. Not a standout but plenty tasty and well made.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2014 Tap room, Pours black with thin off-white head. Aroma caramel, burnt chocolate, slight fruit toasted grain and wet paper. Taste is watery, astringent and something I cant describe. Very light body for a stout. Much better the first time around. Maybe an off batch.

Nero55 (936) - Wisconsin, USA - DEC 30, 2013
UPDATED: APR 21, 2014 Draft. Black with thin tan head. Aroma of plums, roasted malts, and wet paper. Light body, grain astringency, some sweetness, and a dry finish. Definitely worse this time around.
