Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. It pours deep brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, toasted brown sugar, toffee, wood, umami, dark chocolate and earth. The taste is soft, sweet and sugary upfront, then roasted malt, cocoa, oily, woody, brown sugar, tannin and warming alcohol with a dry, sort of bitter finish. Medium - full body, fine carbonation and quite thick mouth -feel. Quite oily and sits heavy on the palate. OK, but had hoped for more. madmitch76 (26413) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2017
