hackobock (4073) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 26, 2016
November 6, 2015. On tap at All In Beer Fest.
Black with a small brown head. Aroma is malty and roasted with molasses, dark chocolate, roasted coffee, spicy rye notes, burnt wood and warming bourbon. Taste is medium sweet, malty and roasted bitterness. Finish is quite bitter with dark chocolate, light ash, coffee, sweet toffee, licorice notes, light spicy rye and warming bourbon. Medium to full bodied, soft to average carbonation.
Nice, a bit drier and more bitter than expected.

_angst_ (5009) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 23, 2015
Draught @ All In Beer Fest 2015. Pours viscous black with a creamy mocha head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty with roasted malts, caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, moist soil, black pepper corns and bourbon alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty. Mouthfeel is oily, round, slightly roasted astringent, slightly boozy and near full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, black pepper corns and bourbon alcohol. I remember trying this a couple of months ago at Fermentoren and then it was a plain uncarbonated imperial stout with close to no barrel presence. This is a beast compared to that so this is very much developing nicely. Big straight forward rye barrel aged imperial stout. Very tasty!

29-MAY-2015, draft @DØE Ølfestival. Black, lasting Brown head. Loads of Bourvon, perhaps a bit thin finish but starting out nice and full. A Little creamy rye-stuff and a Little rye-bread but Rye is not showing itself all that much. Really tastefull drink. Would have liked to taste the other Affluence’s.
