From tap at KØ 15. Black with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, vanille, coffee, bourbon and bitter. humlelala (1375) - DENMARK - JUN 25, 2015
(on tap @ Fermentoren) Poured in Fermentoren’s signature glass revealing a pitch black body and creamy tan head that shows decent retention and beautiful head. Aroma is a bit difficult to discern as the beer is cold and it’s windy outside but there’s roasted malt with a hint of bourbon and some grain. Oily mouthfeel with soft carbonation, medium to full body and a long, astringent finish. Flavour is boozy with a little sweetness. Less harmonic than the sherry-aged version in my opinion but still quite a looker. HenrikSoegaard (14787) - Randers, DENMARK - JUN 24, 2015
