Bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Amber brown, lot of sediment. Earthy leafy hop aroma. Citrus fruit & barley flavour. Strange bitter honey aftertaste. Pretty good big flavour for a session IPA.

Bottle 33cl. poured into a lager glass. Clear golden, good creamy off-white head, fairly lasting, heavy lacing; aroma fresh citrus, orange, peach, apricot, hint of fudge, hay; short soft sweet onset, becomes quickly medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity, spicy notes; fairly dry bitter aftertaste; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; very pleasant and quaffable pale ale.

Keg @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Hazed amber with a small head. Has a tropical fruit aroma and taste, with lots of caramel malts involved, especially in tis nose. Has a very easy-drinking texture with a small fizziness to it.

DavyK (160) - East Kilbride, SCOTLAND - MAY 7, 2017
Keg at Redmond’s. Great depth for a single hop. Pours hazy, light yellow. Lovely chewy hop-oil thing going on that reminded me of Lagunitas (in a good way). Faintly sweet lemon rind finish. If I was the sort of person who kept a ’best in section’ list on my iPhone Notes app, this one goes on it. Would go on it. I meant. Hypothetically. If I kept such a note. Hypothetically.

Grass and papaya nose. Clean, fresh taste similar to the aroma with a subtle bitter end. A lovely drop. Rated by BrewTom

Keg at BD Soho, 11/04/17, probably in the backlog from CPH visit in Aug ’16! Very light hazed on a blonde to golden pour with a decent off white head. Nose is melon, citric tinged straw, toasted grains, light grapefruit esters. Taste comprises grassy bitterness, orange pith, grapefruit, melon, straw, light bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with fairly aggressive hop bitterness ABV considered. Solid hoppy number.
