Garrold (5826) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2017
Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, dark orange. Film and ring of white head. Nose has marmalade hop. Toffee malts. Hint of peach and passion fruit. Taste is sweet mostly, with some tangy bitterness. Thin mouthfeel. Tart bitterness to finish. Two brewers of such calibre came up with this? At least it’s in a good cause...

3.3
Scopey (16227) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 6, 2017
Keg at BD CJ. It pours lightly hazy orange - amber with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy, candied orange, tangerine, marmalade, passion fruit and brioche. The taste is crisp, bitter - sweet, sticky, juicy, candied orange, tangerine, dull zesty passion (wink wink), oily, light spice, grass and straw with a slick and dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit sweet and I get mostly marmalade not passion fruit. Not bad.

On tap at Brewdog soho. Pale amber with a fading head. Scent is loads of fruits, rind, zesty citrus. Taste is consistent dry ips properties with plenty of sweetness. Kind of bog standard early hopped imperial, but can’t complain. Great.
