½ finger white head.
Deep amber coloured beer with yeast bits floating around.
Aroma is the classic lovely smell of citra hops at first but it’s a little more interesting than that. Hefty dose of citrusy dishcloth aroma along with some sort of dark woody smell. Moss? A bit weird but it’s pretty good. Mostly interesting. Sour-ish apricots and alcohol at the end.
Taste follows the aroma pretty much spot on, which is impressive, but the citra hop is the least noticable note in the taste. Heavy on overripe apricot and orange with a lot of bitter dishcloth and pine finishing it off. I didn’t taste like this at all the first time I tasted it.
A bit sticky.
Overall, I’m really torn about this. But you can’t deny that this beer is great. Perfect bitterness for a DIPA. Inbreak (5813) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - JAN 14, 2017

Bottle from Biernavigatie, BB 01/05/2017, large sample. Almost clear orange to amber color, medium frothy head, lots of debris floating around. Big hoppy aroma, citrus, pineapple, bit pine, slight candy. Medium to high bitterness, pine, grapefruit. Slight caramel sweetness. Wow. Its not even superfresh anymore, but it has so much power still there. Great DIPA, how it should be. The debris in the appearance is the only minor flaw, but who cares when it tastes fantastic. On keg at the Hanging Bat.
Appearance - cloudy amber with a nice fluffy head.
Nose - sometime green, then something sweet and jammy.
Taste - big marmalade up front. Dry herb finish. A sort of orange liqueur thing going on.
Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish.
Overall - good though it struggles to hide the alcohol. Stuu666 (13123) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 16, 2016

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with floating impurities and a small, white head. Subtle mango aroma, but hops are already on a downward slope. Medium-bodied, quite dry, with a solid late bitterness. Appears not so "Double", more like a straight and very dry IPA. 081216
