Tap. Pours clear brown with a medium, fizzy tan head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is caramel and cookie malt, faint chocolate notes with earthy hops and dates. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness, light fruity esters and a sweet finish. Light body and medium carbonation. onceblind (10548) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 23, 2012
Clear nutty amber with a foamy light khaki head. The aroma kinda has some grainy malty toffee, and little else. Flavor is much the same with just a hint of caramel/cocoa sweetness. Mouthfeel s a little light though. Not a bad beer, just the kind of brown ale that makes me bored of brown ales.
