brokensail (16436) - Dublin, California, USA - MAR 31, 2013
Can thanks to Aaron. Hazed pale golden pour with a white head. Nice banana and clove aromas. A touch of yeast, nice bready malt, some orange, and perhaps coriander. There’s a light tartness to the flavor along with sweet bread and banana. Clove spiciness, hints of coriander, some yeast, and orange peel.

Can from adnielsen! Pours hazy gold, slight white head, thick lacing. Aroma is bready yeast , banana, a light spice but not enough. Taste is thin, banana, white bread, no spice or bite. Fades fast.

theisti (4114) - Kansas, USA - MAR 24, 2013
Weisse type glass draft pour at the Rackhouse Pub in Denver, Colorado. The pour is a cloudy yellow orange, with a well formed one inch white head. The tastes is nicely fresh wheat grain and orange citrus, along with a subdued clove yeast. The palate presents an almost flat mouth feel, which takes away some of the effectiveness if the beer. Nice enough Hefe.

Doofgoblin (513) - Chevy Chase, Washington DC, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Nice yeasty, banana aroma with a hint of wheat. Pours a slightly murky straw yellow with very little head. A prominent banana tastes permeates the brew with a subtle wheat sweetness that is light in body and finish. The lower carbonation really allows the banana and wheat notes to shine. Overall, quite good.

ajnepple (6430) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 9, 2013
12 oz can. Straw colored and cloudy. Wheat malts, yeast, spices, bananas and clove. Light body, refreshing with a lightly tart finish.

Concealer (1245) - Denver, Colorado, USA - FEB 23, 2013
A nice banana aroma with spice. The taste is similar with a nice little bite at the end. Highly sessionable.

That1Guy (2236) - Colorado, USA - FEB 20, 2013
12 oz can pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Bananas, bananas, and bananas, with some light yeasty sourness coming through. But dominated by isoamyl. Light, packed with flavor, and very nice. With the added benefit of being packaged in a can.

naivepegasus (385) - USA - FEB 16, 2013
Pours a cloudy yellow orange with about a half a finger of stark white light head. Straw in the odor with just a hint of banana sweetness. Surprisingly nice mouth feel, with a nice soft banana sweetness that lingers into a surprisingly subtle hop bitter aftertaste. Not a big hefweizen fan myself, but this is pretty good

DaBearSox (7) - Colorado, USA - FEB 12, 2013 does not count
• body- low body, med-high carbonation • aroma- wheat, yeast • flavor- hints of banana and clove • finish- tart sourdough wheat finish

Beaver (1790) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 8, 2013
12 oz can. Pours hazy straw gold with a small white head that quickly disappears.

The aroma is sweet wheat malts, banana and a little clove spicing.

The flavor is wheaty malts with some sweet fruit and banana and some earthy yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation and is a bit watery.

Overall, an OK hefe. Lots of banana and wheat. Sweet and watery.
