Doug Hyndman’s latest and greatest hoppy war hammer of an IPA. Five types of hops, five pounds in the dry hop - there’s a theme here. Chinook, CTZ, Centennial, Galena and Amarillo join forces, devastating your palate with their bitter deliciousness. Pungent. Clean. Unforgiving. Wonderful!

Hazy, tea colored, webby bone-colored head. Bad can. Resinous, dusty, somewhat catty aroma. A little astringent, very lightly sweet, stiff bittering. Nothing really wrong with this, except that it just doesn’t come together. Thanks to PorterPounder.

Had this weeks ago, on draft at the brewery so I dont remember the details. However this is the most Hoppy (IBU) beer that I have had to date, I I really enjoyed. The burp afterwards made me think I just ate a bad of hops, but thats what its suppose to do, right. Really good beer.

DocJitsu (2015) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - JAN 31, 2015
Pours a clear deep golden color with a clingy, white, cottony head. Astringent mouthfeel. Grapefruity, floral nose. Grapefruit and cherry flavors.

Appearance: pours with a small dark beige head with some density to it, the beer is a hazy amber color Aroma: grass, faint, pine, Taste: strong malty backbone, some grain, light bitter finish, Palate: heavier mouthfeel, average carbonation, bitter aftertaste Overall: drinks easier than most ipa's with this much malt backbone, not as hop forward as I expect an ipa to be, not bad though and drinks easy ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

rollinsr (799) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - DEC 21, 2014
Pours hazy amber with minimal head. Aroma is citrusy with some sweet caramel malt. Flavor is well balanced hops and malts with a good amount of sweet and bitter. A good overall even keeled beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I wasn’t impressed with the hop flavors here. The aroma was nice with a mixture of pine and citrus, but the body was only mildly hop forward. Bitterness came through at the end. Only an average IPA.

swesson (468) - Highlands Ranch, Colorado, USA - NOV 16, 2014
From a can. Pours a cloudy amber and makes a thin white head that makes a nice lacing down the glass. Aroma isn't very distinctive, but a bit of citrus and hops. The 5 hop varieties can definitely be tasted. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Salmoniform (1272) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - NOV 8, 2014
Poured from can to glass. Hazy golden aroma and a creamy white head that settled. Aroma is melon, tangerine, pine, straw, caramel. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and crisp carbonation. Taste is sweet with a bitter following that extends throughout the finish. Overall this is a nice ipa.

I love mostly everything from Dry Dock, but I am not super hyped up about this one. It just taste like a really bitter IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Danyel (1606) - Colorado, USA - AUG 28, 2014
Can. Pours hazy orange with white head. Aroma is wood, cedar, earthy, pine, bread. Taste is very woody- but in a really fake way- taste like some kind cedar or pine flavoring- weird. Overall, this is just a bit too weird.
