on cask. slightly less carbonation than i usually see from their cask beers, but that’s o.k. i don’t need it. pour is a woody tan with some large clear bubbles. aroma is light on the hops and the oak, and well, light on everything. this ain’t a sniffing beer. taste is refreshing. i was worried about an over the top ipa, but i was confronted with a light oak and hop presence that just added to an extrememely drinkable beer. nice sweetness that went well the oak and citrus hop notes. a great cask offering, that made me happy i had the friday off. if only i hadn’t decided to start bar hopping afterward. at least i made it home with the stuff i bought at the HB shop.
