Served from the nitro tap in a nonic pint. Made with cacao nibs and lactose. Warrior and cascade hops, flaked oats. Surprisingly clear ruby brown, moderately thick light tan head. More like a brown ale than a stout in appearance. Nose: Rich milk chocolate, a touch of toast, sweet whole milk. Soft, smooth. A little lighter in the flavor, a smoother, sweeter left hand milk stout, by which I judge all others. A touch of chocolate, lingering lactic sweetness. Just a bit of hop bitterness. Soft, thick medium full body. Soft but prickly carbonation. A silk pillow. Could be a bit more intense, but very drinkable. The glass went quickly.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear reddish brown with a lasting creamy tan head. Aromas of cocoa, vanilla, carmel and light roastiness. Palate was medium bodied and oh so smooth. Flavors of cocoa, vanilla and light roastiness with a smooth lingering cocoa finish.
