On tap at Dry Dock poured a clear gold with a small diminishing white head. Aromas of wheat, light bubblegum, light banana and a hint of clove. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of wheat, light carmel and a hint of spice with a crisp fruity finish. Kevin (2201) - Montana, USA - AUG 19, 2007
tap at the brewery. not very hazed yellow with a white head. clean mainly lemon nose. not much in the esters department. definitely more american than german influenced. thin body with an anemic citrus flavor. this would make a decent lawnmower beer, but it isn’t something i’ll likely go after again. harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - JUL 26, 2006
Very true to style, but very, very light on the palate, almost delicate. I like my Hefes to have a little more substance and body. Other than this is a very nice summer selection, with some light acidity, clove spiciness and a bit of banana fruitiness lingering in the background and has a great clean finish.
