Glowing clear light amber orange. bright aroma, citrus and grass. flavor is bit oniony, citrus and pine, nice sweetness, hides alcohol well. at tap room. mcberko (19803) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 31, 2013
22 oz. bottle, sent from robloc303 (thanks a lot, Rob), pours a murky opaque rusted orange with a small white head. Nose brings out a mix of tropical fruits and dank, juicy hops. Flavour is juicy and refreshing, with loads of tropical fruits (mangos and peaches), big resinous hops, dank earthy notes, and a big fat caramel malt backing to hold everything together. Extremely dank, juicy and hoppy, with a mild astringency. Excellent balance. The big malt profile isn’t too much in this case, as the hops are boldly positioned. Hard to find which beer you had a year ago when you can’t ready your own writing. Amber. hazy. Light head. Nice citrus nose. A little heavy. Strawberry cream finish and aftertaste makes it unique. (or me drunk) DenverLogan (1299) - North Bend, Washington, USA - DEC 14, 2013
From a 22 oz bottle, but I’ve had this many times over the years, mostly from growler re-fills. Pours a cloudy apricot. Sweet and perfume hop aroma. Significant mouthfeel. Flavors of pink grapefruit rind, straw hops, amber malts, light pepper. Overall big, bold, bitter but tasty. sailracer (486) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 11, 2013
Bottle. Pours a darker gold with smaller head. Floral hop aroma and strong malt flavors. Not overly bitter. A very good double IPA.

[ Courtesy of a generous guy at the Ratebeer meeting point @ DOE ]. Unclear medium orange colour with a small, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange, fruity, mango. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dry, hoppy, fruity, sweet hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Poured from draft at falling rock Taphouse in Denver. Clear orange. Fluffy white foamy head. Fruit and tropical aroma. Almost a smoky taste there that I think brings it down a touch. Overall nice dalekliz (927) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 28, 2013
Bottle. Pours a murky yellow-amber with a huge foamy white head that leaves a lot of lacing behind. Fruity hops aroma, of citrus, malt, sugar, grass, yeast. Taste is hoppy, starts sweet, with citrus juice, sugar, malt, then picks up a lot of hoppy bitterness. Lingering sweet and bitter hoppiness that ends watery. Nice. Bomber from Coral Bay in Greeley. Pours an unclear orange brown with a while head leaving drips of lace. Aroma has pine and citrus with caramel. Layered and thick. Taste is sweet caramel, pine, grapefruit and heavy resin. Syrupy and sticky. Medium bodied. Some floaties so bottle could have a little age? Finishes bitter and thick.
