Courtesy of a generous guy at the Ratebeer meeting point at DØE. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - citrus and old hops. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 240513 chrisv10 (17288) - DENMARK - JUN 7, 2013
Bottle. Hazy amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, citrus and a little peach. Flavour is malt, fruit, hop, citrus, little peach, little dusty, little pine, little sweet and medium bitter. Rune (12587) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 4, 2013
Taster poured from a big bottle. Thanks to fonefan at the ratebeer meetingpoint, ØK 13. Hazy, orange-gold body. Smell of apricot and pumpkin. Likewise, the taste profile is made up by sweet fruits, dusty hops and mid-sweet malts. More sweet than bitter to the finish. Smooth and well bodied, mostly hidden alcohol. A decent one, without being too impressive (Copenhagen, 24.05.2013). Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 4, 2013
sample from bottle, courtesy of fonefan - cloudy orange beer with a moderate foam left; pretty flowery hoppiness; full-bodied, some sweetness below soon overwhelemd by a solid bitterness; dry, very long hoppiness (citrus and apricot) saxo (18208) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAY 29, 2013
Sample @ DØE (unofficial). Nice head with good duration. Color is golden/amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, little caramel, malt and citrus.

Sample from bottle (unknown donator). Cloudy golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of orange marmalade and crystal malts, not as "fresh" as I hoped for. Hoppy flavour, medium sweet, not extreme for a double IPA, lacks freshness. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Bottle: &nsp Fiery amber, moderate off-white head, foamy, fairly nice lacing.   Big citrusy aroma, hoppy as well.   Smells very fresh and vibrant!   A bit candied as well.   Lots of citrus notes up front, certainly
hoppy but this one isn’t overly bitter.   Has a nice enough malt base to counteract the bitterness.   This one is really citrusy, semi-sweet, some candied citrus peel and pith.   Very smooth.   Body and mouthfeel are
moderate.   Not a real floral over the top IIPA, nor overly bitter example, but what it does is provides a lot of flavor without being too bitter.   Very easy to drink, and one I would reach for often given the chance.
Thanks Austin for the bottle! jcos (1851) - Maryland, USA - MAR 21, 2013
Had at Josh Goode’s bachelor party. Decent amount of bitterness, pine, a bit sweet. Late in the night so don’t have the best notes. dbarnold (1127) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Was not a big fan of this one, it was overly resinous and unbalanced. Tasted sticky, not at all refreshing, and the pine was overly prominent. sudsmeister (78) - Westminster, Colorado, USA - MAR 3, 2013
22 ounce bomber for $7.49 at North Park in Westminster. "Seven Seas" title is gone, but rest of label looks the same. The ingredients and alcohol level match, so I will assume this is the same beer.
I popped the cap with the bottle at about 50 degrees. It poured a translucent honey hue with a dense white head which was slow to dissipate. The nose was enticing. Taste revealed one of the best balanced IPAs I have tried. Chewy on the palate and with a lingering bitter finish. The 9 percent alcohol is well hidden. This beer is excellent!
