Pours a hazy straw with little head. Great aroma: earthy, dank, citrus qualities combine to form a beautiful tropical fruit aroma. Perfectly balanced and you would never guess that this is a 9% beer. Dry, crisp finish with no lingering bitter or cloyingly sweet notes that often accompany double IPAs. This one’s a keeper.
Draft pint. Clear golden orange with a thick white head and nice lacing. Aroma is pine, citrus, grapefruit, and light caramel. Taste is grapefruit, orange, mango, papaya, and caramel. Super juicy. BuckeyeBoy (7663) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 31, 2016
22oz bottle thanks to Toby. Pours out hazy orange brown topped with a small fizzy head. Nose is juicy hops tropical fruit notes and bread. Taste is more of the tropical fruit hops mango citrus grapefruit and bread malt. Itzjerm (2863) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - AUG 26, 2016
A basic dipa. It really Missed out. Like many beers at this place I think they know how to compete but many average for style beer. Thin fading head. No build of sour. But disappointing.

(En fût à Falling Rock): Un nez de pâte à modeler aux agrumes, thé noir trop infusé provenant d’une base caramel collante. coachd (834) - Missouri, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Not much aroma but great color and overall appearance. Tastes hoppy, bitter grapefruit rind but very sweet in the background. A little imbalanced with these 2 extremes. Good palate. Overall just okay.

Tap at Falling Rock as Double IPA. Gold color. Good dry pine aroma. There is sweetness, being a double ipa, but the hops are more prominent and very drying with bitter citrus. DocJitsu (1974) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - JAN 28, 2015
Pours a murky gold orange color with a rich white head. Citrusy nose but that’s mellowed by the mounds of grain. Heavier mouthfeel with some alcohol heat, but just the right amount. Grapefruit and a little pineapple balanced with more than adequate malt. jsnicholas (627) - Woodinville, Washington, USA - DEC 2, 2014
Draft. Somewhat murky golden color. Nice white head. Great balance between slight sweetness and medium bitterness. Not remembering the details. Very nice kathouse (1888) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - DEC 2, 2014

Pale amber in color surprised me that it was lighter than the regular IPA. Good hop aroma and tasty malt flavors. Body was light/medium. Finish was dry and lingering bitterness would not fade. PartyFowle (954) - - OCT 12, 2014
Tap at Dry Dock, into a shaker pint. The info sheet at the brewery says glowing marigold with an antique white head. I’ll add that it’s hazy, probably unfiltered, and the head sticks in thick horizontal sheets. Lots of orange, a touch of vanilla, nice tropical notes, mango and pineapple in the nose. Mango sorbet. More grassy and resinous flavor, a little dank, nicely tropical again, mango nice with grapefruit. Resin lingers on the tongue.
