On tap at the brewery. Pour is deep black with small tan head and decent lacing. Bourbon, coconut, dark cocoa, almost minty, toasted bread, and earthiness in the aroma. Taste is heavy coconut, espresso, mint chocolate chip, doughy, light alcohol, and bread - a little heat goin down. Slick mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Pretty tasty stout. 4 ounce at The Mayor of Old Town, FC
Smooth with lots of chocolate...almost milk duds. Would like a bit more roast, but pretty much what I expect from a RIS. DiarmaidBHK (5113) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 24, 2013
Draft at Hops & Pie. Pours black with an inch of khaki foam. A very slight malt note on the nose. Thicker mouthfeel than I expected. It’s flavorful without being memorable. It tastes like you think it would except the alcohol is really buried. Eh!

Tap at Vine st. Dark black with a thin foamy chocolate-milk-hued head. Aroma is a little hard to discern, but has a lot of dark roasty malts, smells kinda chewy and sweet with a subtle brown sugar tone. Lovely dark flavor with sweet bitter chocolate, a touch of booziness, roasted black grains, gentle smokiness, and some toasted/near burnt toffee on the finish. Has some bitterness under it all to try to balance it, but the bitterness is all in the mouthfeel, not the flavor. Bitterness in the finish as well with a dark malty tone of smokey chocolate toffee. 3fourths (9349) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 12, 2012
