Hazy dark blackish brown, with a thin light tan ring of head. Nose is big and dark with sweet raisin and plums with a wee touch of sour yeast. Flavor is big and rich with a huge dark stone fruit essence of dates, raisins and plums. There’s a bit of boozy wood behind it, like whiskey or something, with a roasted note of caramel and grape. Loads of dark Belgian fruit sweetness. Sweet and boozy but not cloying. Amazing. brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 12, 2013
