Pour on tap at the CO rare beer tasting 2012, dark and murky brownish red pour with thin off white head, aroma brought notes of dark fruits, plum, raisin, fig, some vanilla, cocoa, oak from the barrel, hints of caramel, dark toffee, some slight spice notes in there as well. Taste was fairly nice though a bit one dimensional, dark fruits and whiskey soaked raisins, nice caramelized sugars, toffee, hints of earth, spice, and some vanilla and oak from the barrel. Pretty nice overall.
