COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We use over two pounds of real vanilla beans in each seven barrel batch to infuse this brown porter with amazing complexity and a smooth rich flavor. There is nothing subtle about this beer.

Pours an opaque black with little head. Smells strongly of vanilla and a hint of coffee. Big vanilla flavor with a little dark chocolate. Creamy and fairly heavy. It might make a good nitro. Pretty simple but still a nice dessert beer.

Can at home. Pour is deep brown with a small tan head and decent lacing. Huge raw vanilla bean aroma - some cocoa, lightly toasty, bready, and coffee in the aroma. Taste is big vanilla bean, some caramel, earthy hopiness, some brown sugar, bread, and toasted malt with a slightly bitter finish. Medium body with medium carbonation. Much better than Breckenridge’s version - a little too much vanilla, but could benefit from more body. Good.

On tap at the brewery. Comes almost black with a small tan head. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate, and malt. Taste is vanilla, chocolate, roasted malt, and caramel. On the sweet side for sure.

Can from Coral Bay in Greeley. Dark brown poor with no head, even after some shaking very little shows and sticks around,. Aroma has chocolate, light caramel and cocoa with some vanilla. Taste is of cocoa, sweet vanilla, some bakers chocolate but all a bit light. Medium bodied without any alcohol. Finishes sweetly bitter. Nice solid "vanilla"y porter. 13.9

12 ounce can. Vanilla in taste. Thin body. Some of the notes don’t feel so natural. Ok overall.

12 oz can thanks to Kaylenn. Appearance: finger tan head, black color, opaque, ok lacing. Aroma: chocolate, vanilla, nutty, earthy. Palate: medium to full body, creamy texture, soft creamy carbonation, finish is slightly dry. Taste: sweet chocolate with plenty of vanilla and earthy malt sweetness, into light bitterness of coffee on the back end. Very nice, good beer, not overly sweet!

Can @ Home. Sweet vanilla flavor. Mouth is sweet, artificial vanilla, cocoa and a sweet finish. As it warms the vanilla becomes a bit more overwhelming and a real heavy sweetness comes forward.
