COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We use over two pounds of real vanilla beans in each seven barrel batch to infuse this brown porter with amazing complexity and a smooth rich flavor. There is nothing subtle about this beer.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours black with a medium beige head that diminishes to an outer ring. Aroma of roasted malt and vanilla coffee. Medium body with a roasty malt character and notes of vanilla, mild hops and coffee. The finish alternates between vanilla and chocolate and leaves a lightly bitter coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.

Aroma is average malt (bread, cookie), light hops (flowers), average yeast (leather) with notes of vanilla, tar and cola. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation and a chalky finish. On tap at the Dry Dock Brewery Tasting Room. Poured a dark brown color with a small sized off white head. Nice vanilla ice cream with a scoop of chocolate araoma. I was really into this aroma. The vanilla was nicely done. Tastes of vanilla, chocolate with some roast. The vanilla was done very nicely in the tastes as well. Light lacing left on the glass.
