Cask at Drygate Brewery. Pours amber, typical cask head. Aroma is tropical, citrusy, herbal. Taste is also tropical, blood orange, grapefruit zest, citrusy. Little dry, but not that much like West Coast style. One of my favourites Drygate beers, more single hop IPAs please! rodsquad (430) - Aberdeen, SCOTLAND - MAR 3, 2018
UPDATED: MAR 3, 2018 Can from Aldi. Pours a hazy copper with a fluffy, almost-white head. Plenty of carbonation on the glass. Nose is quite light and pleasant. Bit of pineapple, quite floral, penny toffee sweetness. Flavours have light toffee up first. Slight bitterness carried by a floral, leafy character. It has a soft feel in a medium-light body. A slightly sharp carbonation makes it easy drinking. Light and fruity with a mild floral bitterness. Certainly not a bold IPA but it's refreshing and enjoyable. scotty (1243) - SCOTLAND - FEB 24, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 24, 2018 Can from Aldi. Hazy dark amber, good finger thick white head, lasting well. Well hopped nose. A lovely mix of citrus fruit and sweet malt on the palate, the hops linger awhile on the finish. Nice one, will definitely buy again! :) adriangail (23) - - FEB 2, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2018 Pours a clear dark amber colour with a big loose head, which dissipates to lace the glass
Aroma is caramel and citrus fruits
Taste is malty, bitter and citrus. A nice balance.
I first had this as one of the limited run swing tops from the Drygate bottle shop, but now you can get it in Aldi, this is honestly one of the easiest drinking beers I’ve had, and I’ll always have a few cans in store. LockTheChurch (2) - - OCT 5, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: OCT 5, 2017 As a Canadian who likes citrus accented hoppy IPA’s, best beer I’ve had in Scotland so far - on tap at Monty’s in Glasgow. Cloudy dark gold pour and pleasant citrus flavour. A quick and light finish.

Keg in the Burnett Banchory. Pours a clear amber/gold with a solid head that lasts. Aromas of pink grapefruit, musky peach and citrus. Flavour is juicy orange, sugared citrus fruits and an almost earthy botanical finish. Lovely! Rebzilla (4) - - JUN 12, 2017 does not count
Quite light on the hops, tastes so good I'm licking my chops. That wasn't enough characters.

Can. Orange colour. Drygate are beginning to put out some interesting beers now. This one has slight meat and a bit of body as well. Not much afters, but very nice nevertheless.
Additional review: I've tried a few more cans and I'm upping my score. It's definitely growing on me!

330ml can from Aldi. £1.25 !! Pours murky copper orange with a decent sized beige head. Nose is caramel malt, orange peel, mango, apricot and Haggis ! Smooth in the mouth like a traditional ale. Lovely sweet caramel and biscuit malt first followed by apricot, tangerine and lemon peel. Nice spicy bitter finish. I can definitely taste haggis in this too, but in a good way ! Love the can artwork, love the beer. Awesome stuff.
