Love this summer ipa from dryhop. Fruity and extremely crushable. Pours orange incor and smells fruity. Had this at dryhop.

Growler from the brewery. Filtered orange body, thin off-white head. Nice mellow tropical nelson sauvin aroma, some pleasant orange citrus notes as well. Pleasant toasty golden malt backbone, a little deeper than most new school hoppy APAs, has some malt richness. A really well balanced, medium bodied beer. Refreshingly easy on the palate. Big and fruity, reminiscent of a a great English Ale at times. Sort of perplexing to rate, more so from the growler, but a really enjoyable beer pablo951 (686) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Hd it on tap at Dry Hop Brewers in Chicago. Pours a amber clear hue with a cantaloupe aroma and a neat head. The taste is smooth and hop finish. Sbraun83 (16) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 29, 2013
A solid summer ale with loads of hops and citrus notes. Pours a deep hazy amber. Great for a hot summer day

Draft pour on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a murky more haze orange amber hue, darker middle, brownish bready hues, some glow on the edges. Frothy whitish head atop dies to a film, laces ok. Aromas offer a plethora of fruit, throwing mango, papaya, honeydew and citrus into the fold. Some pineapple, melon, and florals. Fruity hop nose mixes with a bit of white grape, frorals, a distinct earthy dryness tries to peek through. Initial is lighter bodied, perhaps a bit thin, some bigger mango and tropical fruit presence, bit of bubblegum strike initially. Fleeting, this beer isn’t sweet but the hop flavor it well up there, tapering out in a more mellow way. Dry and bready middle, grass and florals, some rind, bitter pithy fruit. Overall, a bit thin and almost watery in once we move on. Soapy and floral bitterness, decent in strength into the backend and finish. Touches of grainy bready malt, straw, and touches of tropical fruit dance in and out, tropical cooler drink. The nose is really good. Appearance is a bit murky with a tiny head. Flavors hit well up front, but overall pretty thin. It grows on me as most beers do, a bit more fuzzy and bitter in the middle. Nice beer, some fine tuning could really be worthwhile here with body and finishing bitterness. I’ve got mixed feelings on this. It was ok.. too thin.. but has a ton of potential.

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2013 Growler. Peach gummi rings smell. Flavor is mostly malt, doesn’t live up to the smell but it is a good citra pale example. pantanap (3367) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 28, 2013
Head full of zombies... Pours a cloudy, mostly opaque dirty blood orange and topped with a creamy hits head. Not that pretty but that’s not what counts the most... Aroma of blood orange, papaya, and fruit cocktail with some dank weedy undertones to pair with the aforementioned... Sharp, semi-bitter but clean juicy tropical fruit and grape Nelson accents first. Semi-bitter through the middle with a bitter pithy finish. Drinks light with a few shades lighter than medium body and adequate carbonation. A little heavy on the bittering hops but clean and pretty tasty. Flavors cut short by a small degree but I’d have this again.
