Taps opaque dark chocolate brown with a nice light tan head. Aroma delivers roast malt, molasses and caramel notes. Flavor features roast malt, caramel, molasses, and subtle horehound tones, somewhat sweet. Body is firm and smooth, if fizz is not so strong. Go nuts. cubs (10677) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 4, 2013
Tap @ De La Vega’s Las Cruces. Pours a reddish brown appearance with a tan head. Slightly burnt, light toffee, nutty aroma. A bit burnt toffee, caramel, somewhat sweet flavor. Ok. jimmie65 (330) - Texas, USA - JUN 14, 2012
Murky brown pour, not very appetizing. Aroma is pleasant - coffee, nuts, and chocolate. Tastes like it smells, with a good bitterness.
