2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
12oz bottle. Pours a clear dark amber color with medium-sized foamy head. Aroma is dominantly nutty pecan. Flavor is nutty and completely overwhelmed by pecan notes, no hops and maybe a little malt flavor- but even that is completely masked. Tastes more like flavored coffee than anything resembling beer. If you love pecans, you might like this, but it’s completely unbalanced.
Bottle. Pours amber with offwhite head. Aroma is sweet and nutty. Almost pecan hazelnut. Taste is sweet malty nutty with a hazelnut pecan finish. Pretty good. Cybercat (5966) - Georgia, USA - JUN 27, 2016
Taps dark amber, more copper than amber, with a nice pale buff head. Aroma is not strong, but promises malty and hoppy tones. Flavor is, wow - toasted malt, bready, subtle fruity and hoppy, a bit of honey, some nutty character, just plain distinctive! Smooth mouthfeel offers firm body and lively fizz. Will drive you nutty! justinz91 (34) - Alamogordo, New Mexico, USA - MAR 9, 2014
This beer smells great FACT!!!! It has an amber look to it and about a finger worth of head that disappears in under 4 minutes of being poured. It has a bitter sweet very light taste. The pecans are the most clear flavor on the finish. The carbonation is pretty good and feels great in your mouth. I really like this beer will buy it again. delnoche (516) - Alamogordo, New Mexico, USA - FEB 8, 2014
12fl oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Clear amber with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is a powerful blast of pecans. All I can taste is pecans as well. Very smooth palate with moderate carbonation. Short finish is all pecan. Interesting novelty beer but it’s really too sweet for me. kevinator (2453) - The Colony, Texas, USA - JAN 12, 2014
A very aromatic beer with pecans and toffee being the predominant force. Amber color that was clear with a small white head. Light and smooth mouthfeel. Somewhat filling. The flavor was woody and pecan with a buttery finish. Not sure if this was intentional or a hint of diacetyl. A pleasant beer and unique just not awesome.

Bottle from Susan’s fines wines. Pours brown with a thin khaki head. Has an artificial nut thing on the nose. It comes off very sweet on the tongue. It’s quaffable but I’d never have another one Travlr (25558) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 21, 2013
Bottle. Clear light amber color, white head, solid lacing. Aroma of intense roasting pecans. Taste is equally nutty. Nice. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - AUG 17, 2013
Thanks to errl for sharing this bottle. Amber pour with a white head. The aroma is very heavy on the pecans. The flavor is similar with a ton of pecan and toffee notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
