Cloudy light amber color with creamy head. Aroma of classic Belgian Tripel, with spicy yeast, mild. Highly carbonated; the yeast provides a mild spicy and fruity character; the malt flavor is moderately sweet; the bitterness level quite low, and unfortunately the alcohol perception too high; hints of vegetables, and light metallic feeling in the end.

FatPhil (17150) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 24, 2013
330ml bottle (Stockmann, Tallinn)

Hazy straw, persistent light head. Perfumey aroma, classic belgian. Anna thinks it’s a bit soapy. Apple retronasals, a hint of alcohol. Pretty sweet. Light graininess, milky, a hint of butyric acid maybe. A little sickly version of a tripel. A bit messy. too sweet. Pressed apple juice in the finish. Unconvinced. There are way better tripels out there. I normally really like these guys, a bit of a shame.

yngwie (17261) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 16, 2013
Bottle. A dense, finger-thick white head forms over a lightly unclear orange-golden body. White sugar, some herbs, canned peaches, a touch of malts and a faint spiced note in the aroma. Some alcohol too. The flavor is sweet and fruity, yet it’s quite dry on the palate. Full body, quite effervescent. There’s also spice notes, alcohol and white sugar. Some bitterness in the finish. A quite pleasant one, but I think it would benefit from a slighlty lower ABV. 130216
