L: -pours a hazy ruby with a medium,foamy,sand-coloured head -high carbonation visible S: -washing powder, cherries, raspberries, astringent T: -follo the nose with slight caramel, slight bread and a syrupy sweetness F: -medium carbonation -medium body O: Fairly fruity and soapy Belgian Brown Ale. Not for me.

I take this beer keg format. Although I prefer the format bottle. A good beer, but without the quality of the great Belgian beers of this style

75cl bottle. Pours brown with big tanned persistent head. Plum and other dark fruits, yeast. Really soft mouthfeel, cannot taste alcohol. More sweet than bitter. Really good.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2016 Pours a clear ruby brown with a huge light tan head and nice lacing. Aroma of candy, caramel, molasses sugar, spice, citrus. Tastes medium sweet with medium/light carbonation sourness and a drop of crispy bitterness on finish. High carbonation, medium body, very thin for the amount of ABV, assertive alcoholic finish, a little sticky. Not bad but rather one-dimensional, and I’m not fond of the palate.

jampura (195) - FINLAND - SEP 17, 2016
Makea, kaunis olut. Maltaisuus, hiiva ja melkein toffeemainen karamelli. Hyvä, tumma bock.

mice (1131) - FINLAND - AUG 7, 2016

triskaideka (369) - Killarney, IRELAND - JUL 28, 2016
Bottle from Lidl - pours dark red/brown with tan/beige head. Aroma - toffee, sugar, nutty. Taste - caramel, dark fruit cake, yeasty. Nice

MelvinKalksma (1886) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 20, 2016

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, Belgian yeast and fruit.

Turbid/opaque ree/brown beer with a slight/medium beige head.

Medium sweet with malts, caramel, Belgian yeast and fruit.

This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Nothing really to write about to be fair, just an average dark Belgian Strong Ale.
