Unfiltered blonde beer with a touch of wheat and a strong bitterness. Brewed the good old way, it is very refreshing. The only Saison beer produced in the region of Namur! The foam and bubbles are delicate and fine. Balance is the key word for this beer. It shifts between floral aromas, lime, a little broom and a lace mouth, but is robust at the same time. Refreshing as hell, this beer takes us back in time.

Note: this beer is a blend of two other beers from the brewery, neither of them being a saison though.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2017 Very pleasant beer. Oranges, grapefruit. Nice bitterness. Easily drinkable. Fruity. Creamy.

750ml bottle. corked and caged. Opens with a loud, healthy pop. Earthy, light on the palate. Has some mild off tones, maybe that came with age. Not really that great of an offering. Some high temp, not so graceful yeast tones. More drinkable, sessionable than most US variations, but not that impressive of a flavor profile. Mild lemon lime, grain, basement. Drinkable, but not that impressive.

Veldig god saison, fruktig og lett, men allikevel dyp og kompleks. Kjøpt i Sverige ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

75cl [email protected] in Trappist [email protected] 9 degrees C. Pours a hazy light golden with good white head of very small bubbles with ok retention. Aroma of brett, yeast and fruity hoppiness. Good, typical saison taste of malt and sufficient hops, yeastiness and brett, rounding off with a citrussy, hoppy, dry aftertaste. Very good mouthfeel. Creamy due to the small, elegant bubbles. First good beer I have had from Bocq - definitely a decent Saison.
