750 ml. bottle sampled @ LIBF 2017. Thank you for sharing RB-InBev Belgian crew! Made with lupulin powder. Dark amber orange, little white head. Nose is very nice tropical fruit, orange, pine resin, forward on the fruity stuff. Taste is nice pine citrus, tropical, orange peel, fruity, nice easy fruity, mellow bitter,... Easy orange peel, low dough. Nice stuff in the modern popular DIPA style, lupulin powder is good stuff & this is good use of it. Nice stuff.

Leighton (21083) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2017
Bottle shared in London - thanks to Mitchy. Pours mostly clear orange with a creamy, white head. Fairly restrained aroma, some pithy citrus, rind, minerals. Light sweet flavour with nips of peach, lots of flinty minerals, orange peel. Medium bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more minerality, rindy bitterness, some yeast, pale grains. Uninspiring.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2017 Bottle at LKS. It pours hazy orange with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, peachy, apricot, tangerine, stewed fruits, sugary, brioche and bread. The taste is bitter - sweet, earthy, chewy, bitter resin, orange rind, tangerine, leather, cheddar cheese and some alcohol with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit cheesy perhaps. Sits a bit heavy on the palate after a while.

Bottle sample @ LIBF’17, thanks to the RB-InBev Belgian crew for the share.

23/IV/17 - 75cl bottle @ Zythos Bier Festival 2017 (Leuven) - BB: n/a (2017-550) Thanks to Fred for the sample!

Clear orange beer, creamy irregular white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, lots of pineapple, bit of mango, passion fruit, lovely stuff! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of tropical fruit, pineapple, bitter, fruity. Aftertaste: more pineapple, mango, bit dank, very hoppy, resinous and piny finish, lovely beer! And you might think: well, it’s the end of the festival, you just tasted a lot of very mediocre beers, so any half decent ipa would’ve excited you. But no! We had just finished revisiting some of our favourite beers of the festival, which was mainly ipas. (Totem, Vleesmeester, ...) So even compared with some of the better ipa’s on the festival, this one is still a big hit!
