Great beer! Had a glass on vacation while in Dublin. Wish I could get it here. Deep amber/mahogany color. Thick head with light lacing at the end. Wish I could have gotten another pint of it before I had to go home! Hansen (8587) - Assentoft, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2003
Lots of dark, malty aroma. Dark, ruby colored. The dark, rich malt goes in the flavor too. I like it! Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 17, 2001
Full-bodied, complex earthy, malty flavour. Lots of crystal malt and a dryish finish. Top stuff. Gusler (2653) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - SEP 14, 2001
Dark ruby red, with a generous beige head, and fine lace. Big malt nose with toasted tones, and a light carbonation. Malt at the start, slightly sweet at the top, fair hop presence and some what dry at the finish, quite a unique beer I think, and quite tastey.

A bit sweet. Full of taste.

Full-bodied, roasted flavour. A bit on the sweet side. HopsOrDie (687) - New Lenox, Illinois, USA - SEP 8, 2004
Deep amber color with little to no head. Flavor was slightly sweet and very toasty. Bitterness holds sweetness in check. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 14, 2001Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2002
Beautiful mahogany colour. Rich in flavour with some sweetness in the end. A great ale. Ungstrup (37309) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2002
A red beer with a good head. The aroma is very nice malty, spicy, and fruity. The flavor is soft malty like red beers usually are. It end of quite bitter. A really nice beer, that I definatly will have again.
