COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A hybrid of several “Red” beer styles, this is a malt forward beer that is crimson in color and full flavored. This beer has prominent notes of Caramel, Toffee and Brown Sugar while a modest amount of English hop varieties add light floral and earthy notes to balance out the full malt character.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber red with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of sweet grains and caramel with a bit of bread backing. Flavor is similar with a combination of sweet grains, caramel and bread underlying.

Pours a hazy deep amber/copper colour with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of slight caramel malts, toffee, bread, and red liquorice. Taste is sweet, slightly malty, with a moderate dry bitterness. Medium body, softer carbonation, and creamy on the palate. Overall a really nice red ale.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a reddish amber color. On the dark side with an off white head. The aroma is toasted and a little roasted with mild hints of malt syrup. The flavor is the same. Nice earthy, toasted notes with some hints of roasted malt, fruit and syrup. Dry, earthy finish. Pretty tasty.

12 Sept 2015, tap at Duck Foot. Red/orange. Nose is sweet, toasty malt. Med body and mildly fizzy, slightly watery. Toasty, malty, nutty. Nice. A bit more toasted malt and almost no hops.
