Bottle. BB 07.2015 (from koht yard sale). Pours copper with beige head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, malty, grainy, cardboard. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, malt, grains, dry bitter hops, some cardboard. Finish is also dry and bitter. Overall: ok, I like malty beers.

Piepenhenrich (591) - Steinbach, GERMANY - SEP 9, 2017
Very well-crafted dark beer, with fine well-blent, though not too intense flavors. I am not sure if I would classify it as an Altbier, as it does not compare to the Alt from Düsseldorf (and to me there is no other), but it is a decent brew, which I can enjoy having.

tgrtnr (259) - Augsburg, Bavaria, GERMANY - MAY 28, 2017
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2017 500 ml bottle. Brown reddish, small head. Malt, a bit coffee but overall one-sided aroma. Malty and bitter, not very balanced. Watery texture. Low carbonation, medium body. Bottle looks promising but in the end it is still a mass produced beer with a way too malty and unbalanced taste.

Koper beperkt witte kraag.

Leicht rauchiger Geschmack.

thellgren (1097) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 15, 2017
0,5 l draught @ Original Mommsen Eck, Berlin. Appearance is amber, clear and with a big nice head. Taste is malty and bittter... and there is something else. Like a very good real ale bitter or historical English Pale Ale it has some kind of strange extra taste. This was especially good with a duck meal.

Keg at Zwack, Kiel. Pours amber with an off white head. Tastes artificial, belch beer. Some spice, hard work.

jann3 (395) - Espoo, FINLAND - NOV 13, 2016
Clear amber with a smallish off white head. Aroma is sweetish and malty with caramel and a hint of coffee. Taste is sweetish too with caramel, honey and a hint of bitterish floral notes. Not bad. (0,5l bottle, bb27.10.17)
