Bottle. Pours clear amber-redish colour with small light brown head, that quickly sits into a nice circle. Intensive aroma of caramel, brown sugar, toasted malts, toffee. Moderate bitter taste and aftertaste. Medium to full body, dry/watery texture and lively carbonation.

Bottle. Amber colour, clear, rocky head that disappears after a while without any trace, no lacing at all. Aroma is caramel, a little bit of nuts and herbal hops - gets better when you allow the beer to warm up. Light bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Has some similarity to lightly hopped English bitters. Not very complex, but easy to drink.

zizivan (22) - SLOVENIA - OCT 16, 2017
It's ok, a bit metallic in the taste. Mostly caramel and light medium bitterness, easy and drinkable.

On tap at (somewhere in Essen). Comes with a reddish-copper color and a nice off-white head. Sweet and malty nose, some sugar and slightly some red fruits, caramel. Taste is malty and grainy with a sweet-malty finish. Not too bad.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2017 Bottle. Dark amber, clear color. White, short head. Aromatic, red fruits, bittersweet, dry finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle. BB 07.2015 (from koht yard sale). Pours copper with beige head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, malty, grainy, cardboard. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, malt, grains, dry bitter hops, some cardboard. Finish is also dry and bitter. Overall: ok, I like malty beers.

Piepenhenrich (1288) - Steinbach, GERMANY - SEP 9, 2017
Very well-crafted dark beer, with fine well-blent, though not too intense flavors. I am not sure if I would classify it as an Altbier, as it does not compare to the Alt from Düsseldorf (and to me there is no other), but it is a decent brew, which I can enjoy having.

Butelka 500 ml,barwa herbaciana,piana drobna szybko znika.W aromacie i smaku przede wszystkim slody.Bez wyrazu i charakteru,

Ritzn (1984) - GERMANY - JUL 26, 2017
Clear dark amber with medium beige head. Aroma is chestnut brown sugar tart hops. Taste is smooth nutty bitterness. Slight alcoholic. Some sweet brown sugar. Medium drinkable. Ok.

tgrtnr (394) - Augsburg, Bavaria, GERMANY - MAY 28, 2017
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2017 500 ml bottle. Brown reddish, small head. Malt, a bit coffee but overall one-sided aroma. Malty and bitter, not very balanced. Watery texture. Low carbonation, medium body. Bottle looks promising but in the end it is still a mass produced beer with a way too malty and unbalanced taste.
