Draft @ Max’s Taphouse, Baltimore, MD. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity wheat malty citrus aroma. Sweetish wheat malty spicy citrus flavor with weak hints of banana. Has a sweetish wheat malty spicy finish.

Clear lemon yellow body with a white head that was gone by the time it reached my table. Aroma is medium sweet, banana, clove, some wheat. Taste is medium sweet, banana, clove, other spice, some wheat. Watery light body, some crispness. A solid take on a Hefe.

The appearance is of apricot nectar. Loch-Ness Murky! Tiny, white, creamy head. No lacing. The aroma is of banana and clove. Typical of the style. 'Nuff said. The flavor is fruity and yeasty up front. Perfectly balanced with a tart hop presence on the backside. Light-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and pillow-soft carbonation. Short, tart, dry finish. Different for a German Wheat, but very nice!

opaque yellow, wispy white head, drippy streaks of lace, sweet spicy citrus aroma, sweet malt flavor, light fruity orange and lemon character, touch of spices for balance, a wit light for the summer swillin crowd

355mL. Pours a clear yellow to straw with a medium, bright white, suddy head forming but not sticking around. No lace. Nose is relative to style with mostly apples, pears, and spice. As it warms it picks up a little phenolic clove and old banana. But as it opens up even more, these volatile compounds are replaced by heavy oatmeal and cereal grain...maybe something corny or buttery like cornbread (diacetyl and/or DMS?). Off-character in the nose but inoffensive. Taste is slightly buttery with a soapy palate. Sweet pears try to come through with sweet banana dessert, but this is ruined by big soapiness. Poor palate. Really all over the place.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8069) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 11, 2015
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-amber color with an enormous foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left minimal lacing. The aroma was clove, bubblegum, a touch of phenol, a bit skunky, dusty and soapy. The flavor was tart citrus, honey, clove, breast, must and bubblegum. Turns dry on the medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

Hazy golden coloured body with a nice white head. Aroma of nice lemons, wheat and yeast. Medium-bodied; Strong yeastie flavour with a lot of lemons and a strong scent of hops! Aftertaste potent, but strong in showing the good flavours. Overall, a nice wheat - especially in the summer heat! I sampled this six ounce sample from pseudo-draught at the Old Dominion 2005 Beer Festival on 24-June-2005 in Ashburn, Virginia.

12oz bottle from Xroads. Poured a clear rusty orange body with a large ugly soap bubble head of off-white. Aroma is not pleasant, notes of rotting bananas, old dirty kitchen sponge, bad cloves and rotting dough. Palate is super aggressive, loads of bubbly carbonation on a watery to average body and a lasting aftertaste. Flavor is banana bread toast, cloves, old dried out raisins, yeast, some dates and a newspaper/cardboard combo. Not impressed with this by any means.
