4 oz pour at the Bowie location on 7/22/11. black pour with a small tan head. roast, chocolate, coffee nose. medium body with light dark fruit notes, with more chocolate and coffee. sweet fruit finish - would like more roast on the back end.

On tap at Duclaw, Bowie on 14 July 2006. Very dark brown - almost black - and nearly opaque. Lots of creamy coffee in the aroma. More of the same on the palate. Some powdery cocoa and burnt malt too. Smooth and mellow. A very decent and enjoyable porter.

Poured extremely dark brown/ruby in color with a medium-sized, cream, dense, light brown head that lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, some grain, and slight cream. Light to medium body. Very thin texture. Average carbonation.
