Bottle @ MPLS LOL tasting, courtesy of my Minnesota friends. Thanks Kyle. Pours a hazy reddish brown appearance with little head. Fairly sweet, caramel, light chocolate, boozy, mild fruity aroma. Pretty smooth, toffee, vanilla, a bit woody, light honey, banana flavor. Honestly pretty tasty. Bacterial (3074) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Yum! Thanks Hoff! Hazy caramel pour. No head. Malty boozy caramel vanilla in the nose. Hot, but balanced. Really nice to sip! BazookaJoe (274) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Pours medium brown, with a sweet boozy aroma. For being 20% it hides the alcohol very well. Very sweet and fruity that finishes clean.

Sooo, finally got to try this one after hunting it down for years. This poured a ruby red color with pretty much no head at all. Aroma made me very weary, smelled liek this one was going to be an insane sugar bomb, but had the smell fo booze, dark fruits, and lots of sweeet caramel. Flaovr was actually better than expected from the aroma. Of course it’s sweet for the high abv, but not nearly as cloying as expected, and booze is hidden pretty well too. Pretty much a novelty beer, but certainly drinkable in small doses. Immy (1958) - Virginia Beach, USA - MAY 4, 2013
Bomber someone sent me - forgive me for not remembering who! This is one bizarre brew. I’m at a loss - the nose is apples, some cinnamon and... something? The flavor is cinnamon, apple, malt, and... I have no idea how to describe. Lychee? No... I don’t know. It’s good and stuff. Booze is really well hidden. not sure what to make of this, but I like it. I think.

Bottle:   Deep dull amber, a bit dirty, thin sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Heavy caramel malt aroma, sweet, some citrus peel, a little dank.   A little like Samichlaus (sp).   Super sweet citrus start, very candied, very warming.   This is a sipping beer.   Thankfully its not overly cloying, which really surprises me.   Big sweet candied citrus peel with some other soft spices.   The bottle mentions Apple, Cinnamon, and Honey.   I can see that.   Body and mouthfeel are surprisingly moderate.   Again, weird its not cloying or thick and syrupy.   Well, maybe slightly syrupy.   Finishes clean, lingering candied citrus bits, and some big warming from the alcohol.   I was thinking at 21% it would be a drain pour, but surprisingly its not.   Better than expected. kimjongill (207) - - JAN 17, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2013 Hazy brown/dark orange pour with thin, tan head. Aroma of raisins and champagne. Taste of raisins, honey, and fruit cider (minus the sour) as well as a nice caramel malt backbone. Mouthfeel is a bit syrupy. streve (105) - Maryland, USA - JAN 1, 2013
22oz bomber poured into rocks glasses. Pour was a dark amber color with virtually no head. Sweet smelling aroma of apple cider and booze. Mouth follows suit but adds a syrupy texture. Goes down surprisingly smooth and has a somewhat dry finish. Solid sipper. shroud0fdoom (151) - Maryland, USA - AUG 17, 2012
When I first had this I figured this was a novelty ale. Smells delicious sweet. Taste was a like apple cinnamon syrup with a warming finish, at 22% that is expected. The sure strength of this brings it down, yet I will still have a 6oz serving when its on tap. Koelschtrinker (22074) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 23, 2012
Hefiger, sehr süßer Beginn, der dann zuckriger wird. Zu süß. Zuvor wenig alkoholisch, die Süße wird drückend. Kaum trinkbar. /11/8/7/6/7
