COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dominant blend of roasted malt, coconut, caramel, and chocolate essences, barely restrained by a gentle hop bite, that tantalizes your senses all the way through to a satisfying finish. Submit to the indulgence, but be warned…there is no safe word!

I love this beer!!! I love the name! Other people have noted tastes of vanilla and coconut. That may be true, since they are probably younger than me and have better taste buds. (Your taste buds go bye-bye when you get older.) Anywho, this beer tasted of roasted malt and chocolate. It was delicious and is now my favorite beer of the moment. It does seem more like a porter rather than a brown ale. I'm not sure what the difference is between the two, but I've never had a brown ale with a chocolate flavor. This beer is some good stuff!

This may be my new favorite beer. The aroma is full of chocolate and coconut. Pours a beautiful dark brown with a slight head. Flavor bursts with chocolate and coconut with a slight hop finish. This beer was great!

Pours a clear dark cola brown that becomes garnet in intense light. Normal head volume, outstanding lacing and retention.

World class rich nose of toasted coconut, chocolate notes and caramel.

Heavy medium body that is so smooth it borders on creamy. Normal carbonation with a bit of effervescence in the middle and a prickly finish.

The flavor profile is world class. Intensity, complexity and balance are spot on. Toasted coconut is the primary flavor and arrives as the middle approaches. It begins with a nut flavor, that has a hint of charred quality to it, over bakers chocolate which flows into the coconut. As the coconut subsides, a potent vanilla note arrives over a wave of caramel and sweeter chocolate. The finish is slightly dry and leaves a fading vanilla coconut blended flavor.

Pours thick mostly unclear dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is lighter than flavor, bringing sweet and toasted coconut notes with some sweet toffee granola as well, maybe oats. Flavor is fabulous chocolate, suggestion of spices such as cinnamon, and some coconut as well that ends so nicely on the palate and a smooth body.

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2014 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown color with faint orange highlights and a large fluffy beige head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was a luscious mix of roasty malts, nut, chocolate, coconut and caramel. The flavor was toasty malts, nut, chocolate, somewhat bitter and a bit of coffee - lots going on and mixing well. Long finish. Medium body. Excellent.

Very unique. Never had a beer with a strong coconut aroma and taste. Poured from 12 oz bottle dark brown in color with thin tan head. Besides the coconut there is definite chocolate and caramel flavors. Goes down smooth with no bitter finish. Hardly taste any hops. Since I do like coconut and chocolate, I liked this beer and will definitely have it again.
