Looks awful. Way too light for a brown ale with no head. Taste isn’t at all bad though, I get caramel, hazelnut, and a hint of coffee. Nephilium (1821) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - JUL 23, 2015
Strong toffee aroma with a touch of caramel, pours a clear (but very dark) amber with a full off white head. Sweet toffee and caramel notes carry the flavor, with just a little bitterness to keep it from being cloying. Higher carbonation also helps to lift the sweetness away. Medium body, and very drinkable. I’ll probably revisit this one when it cools off outside. rdixon77 (2921) - Georgia, USA - JUN 26, 2015
Chocolate, toffee, caramel, candy taste. Pretty sticky overall. Interesting brown ale, but wouldn't be a go to for me. joejames (510) - Jacobus, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 24, 2015
Bottle to shaker glass, pours clear reddish-brown. Two finger almost white pillowy head some lacing and retention. Aroma of coffee and hazelnuts. Taste is somewhat sweet with just a touch of bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, creamy mouth feel. Finishes sweet. Tasting notes of caramel, hazelnuts, faint chocolate, toasted malt and grass. It’s a pretty decent brown ale. klk343 (162) - - JUN 13, 2015

Some roast and a sharp but aroma. Some light toffee. Pours maroon with ok head. Bitter finish. Good, and well balanced. Tap at BWI brewpub. fooj (46) - Maryland, USA - APR 5, 2015
A sweet, chocolate aroma . The color is dark brown, nearly opaque with white head. The taste is, well, like tootsie roll. A nice sweet mellow aftertaste. A good brown ale.
