ganache (5896) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 29, 2014
Bottle, marked 12/03/13, so I’m hoping born on. Nose is beautifully rindy, crisp citric hops with tropical leanings, lightly soapy. Clear orange-amber with medium carbonation and a sudsy off-white head. Taste is strongly bitter but not too extreme, tons of soapy and mild resinous touches, tropical fruit and rind working inward from the edges, touch of floral and slightly more pine, more than a little (bad) alcohol seepage. Medium body is soft, extremely juicy, and very cleansing. Not one I’ll be seeking out again, but made well and with some style. jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - JAN 23, 2014
Bottle. Pours golden orange with off white head. Nose and taste of old tropical fruit, caramel malt, sticky resin, dank grapefruit, orange candy and bubblegum. Lighter medium body. pineypower (3325) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - JAN 22, 2014
Bottle. Pours out a very attractive orange color with a small off white head. Aroma is of caramel malts, toasted grains, citrus, floral and light grassy hop notes. Taste is more malt up front with a solid punch of grapefruit bitterness that creeps in after the initial sip, some mild fruity and grassy hop flavors with a nicely bitter finish. I’d definitely drink it again. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JAN 17, 2014
Bottle. Copper pour with beige head. Herbal and earth grassy hop aromas. Flavor is a bit more dull, maltiness coming through now. dmac (6259) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JAN 17, 2014
12oz bottle from Spirits Manahawkin. Poured a syrupy deep sunburnt orange body under a smaller off white tight foamy head. Aroma is really nice with lots of citrus and slight tropical fruits, rotting oranges, grapefruit, dry toast and a hint of vanilla pot purri. Medium to fuller body with strong carbonation and a full syrupy finish that lingers with a light to medium bitterness. Flavor is nice but not quite as good as the aroma. Notes of yellow grapefruit and oranges, medium toast, grain husks, rind and dry hop cones. Solid beer and the best of the beers I picked up yesterday.

Nice aroma on this robust, but still smooth IPA. There is a little ginger and pine in there. Good. FishBizkit (234) - Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 23, 2013
Pour clear copper with a finger of white head. The aroma is fairly floral with a little pine in the distance. The taste is nice and bitter with just enough citrus sweetness to balance. Solid but not spectacular.

Bottle from Oct-13. Pours cloudy orange with little to no head. Aroma is grapefruit, pine needles, orange. Taste is citrusy - pineapple, grapefruit, orange peel. Light body and quick finish. Lingering hop traits on the tongue. Refreshing. More of a summer beer for my tastes. PaleHorse732 (4) - Piscataway, New Jersey, USA - DEC 7, 2013 does not count
Beautiful bright orange color. Very nice smells of orange, mango, pineapple, pine. Taste is like smells and these New Zealand hops stand out like Green Flash’s triple hop Green Bullet.
I’m really enjoying this one and would definitely pick it up again. SamP01 (668) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 4, 2013
Pours a clear medium dark amber with a medium off white head. Aroma of citrus grapefruity hops, orange notes and flavor, caramel malt, yeast and fruity. Taste same as aroma. A medium body, slight smooth mouth feel and good carbonation. The finish is sweet caramel malt, yeast and bready notes with some citrus and grapefruit bitterness on the end for balance. Overall has a good caramel malt character, good sweetness and bitterness, a good nicely balanced brew.
